The United States Mint presents a “golden opportunity” tomorrow beginning at 12pm EST to own 2024 Gold American Eagle Proof Coins!
The 2024 Gold American Eagle Proof Four-Coin Set will include each denomination, including the 1oz $50, ½ oz $25, ¼ oz $10, and 1/10 oz $5 coins. Struck in 22-karat gold with a Proof finish, all coins feature the ‘W’ mintmark representing West Point. The household limit starts at three with the product limit set at 10,000.
Like years past, the gold coins will be available in the four-coin set as well as individually. The 2024 1oz Proof Coin will have a household limit of three, product limit of 9,500, and mintage limit of 19,500.
In addition to the 1oz gold option, the ½ oz gold Proof coin will have a household limit of three, product limit of 5,000, and mintage limit of 15,000. For the 1/4oz coin, there is a household limit of three, product limit of 8,000, and mintage limit of 18,000. Lastly, the 1/10oz coin has a household limit of three, product limit of 18,000, and mintage limit of 28,000.
The obverse design of all the coins features the updated version of Augustus Saint Gaudens’ depiction of Lady Liberty as she is seen with flowing hair in a full-length form holding a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left. The reverse depicts the newly updated version that changed in 2021, showcasing a bold and up-close look at the American Bald Eagle.
All coins, whether in the 4pc set or individually, will arrive in a black presentation case accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
