Tomorrow the United States Mint will continue on with its 2022 production schedule as it will release the 2022-S One-Ounce Proof American Silver Eagle. Available at 12pm EST, the coin will retail at $73.00.
Struck at the Mint in San Francisco, the one-ounce .999 fine silver coin will feature the new reverse as introduced in the latter part of 2021. Featuring a Proof finish, it will also feature the ‘S’ mint mark on the reverse and arrive in a black presentation box with a Certificate of Authenticity. With just a household limit of three, the 2022-dated Proof Silver Eagle will have a product limit of 200,000 with no current mintage limit.
This American Silver Eagle will also include the enhanced security feature that was introduced as part of the new design last year. This feature arrives in the form of an anti-counterfeit reeded edge variation just below the year date.
