This is the 2000 US Leif Ericson millennium commemorative set. Arriving in original Government packaging, the United States Mint worked with the Republic of Iceland in commemoration of the millennium of the discovery of the New World by Leif Ericson. The US tender coin is a 90% Silver Dollar Proof, with a Viking ship on the reverse. The Icelandic legal tender coin is a 90% silver 1000 Kronur proof.
