2023 U.S. Mint Production Schedule Update

The tail end of 2023 has arrived and if you are wondering whether or not it went fast for us as well, wonder no more: IT DID! It is hard to believe that 2024 is around the corner, but first we have a few products to remind you about being released from the United States Mint in these coming months.

On October 23rd, the last 2023 American Women's Quarter will be releasing honoring Maria Tallchief. Available in rolls and bags from Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco (3-roll set ONLY), the reverse features Maria Tallchief under a spotlight in balletic pose. Considered America’s first prima ballerina, Maria Tallchief broke even more barriers as she was a Native American ballerina who exuded strength and resilience on and off stage.

Rounding out the month of October will be the 2023 American Innovation $1 Coin Proof Set from San Francisco. Retailing for $24.00, the set will feature this year’s designs that have honored Ohio, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Indiana. The initial household limit has been set to five.

Starting November off with a bang is the highly anticipated 2023 Morgan & Peace Dollar Reverse Proof Set. Both coins will be struck at San Francisco and feature the Reverse Proof finish, a first for both the Morgan and Peace Silver dollars. Household limits are set to five currently.

The 2023 American Innovation $1 Reverse Proof Set will be released on November 14th. Struck at San Francisco, the set will be available for $28.00 and be limited to five per household. Once again, the set will honor 2023’s designs featuring Ohio, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Indiana.

The end of November will see the 2023 Limited Edition Silver Proof Set. Including eight coins struck in a Silver Proof finish from San Francisco, the set will be limited to two per household and retail for $220.00.

On December 5th, the annual Uncirculated Mint Set from Philadelphia and Denver will be released. With coins dated 2023, there are no set limits as they will be available for $29.00.

Rounding out the entire year will be United States Marine Corps Bronze Medal from Philadelphia. It is the third to be released in the Armed Forces Bronze Medal Program and will retail at $20.00.
