The United States Mint will release its annual Uncirculated Gold American Eagle tomorrow beginning at 12pm EST. You can get the 2024 1oz Gold Coin from West Point for $3,170.00.
A refreshed version of Augustus Saint-Gaudens' full-length figure of Lady Liberty is featured on the 2024-dated obverse. She is holding a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left. The reverse depicts the newer design of a bold majestic eagle. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, IN GOD WE TRUST, 50 DOLLARS, and 1 OZ. FINE GOLD is inscribed around the design.
In addition, the gold coin will include the anti-counterfeiting variable reeded edge. The Mint started to include this measure when the design changed back in 2021 to help combat counterfeiting.
Each 22-karat gold coin will be encapsulated in a protective capsule and come inside a black presentation case with a Certificate of Authenticity. The household limit is set at three initially with the mintage and product limit set at 13,000.
