
The United States Mint is gearing up for its annual release of the Proof Gold American Eagle coins tomorrow. The coins, available in both a 4pc set and individually, will go on sale at 12pm EST.
With a product limit of 10,000, the 4pc set will include a $50 (1oz), $25(1/2oz), $10 (1/4oz), and $5 (1/10oz) denomination coin in stunning Proof 22-karat gold. The 2025-dated Gold Eagles are struck at West Point and feature a majestic eagle on the reverse and a refreshed version of Augustus Saint-Gaudens' figure of Liberty on the obverse. All four coins will come in protective plastic capsules and be featured in a stylish clamshell and black presentation case accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. The household limit order is set at three.
Each denomination is also available individually. Those mintages are as follows:
- $50 (1oz): Product Limit, 7,500 - Mintage Limit, 17,500
- $25 (1/2oz): Product Limit, 4,000 – Mintage Limit, 14,000
- $10 (1/4oz): Product Limit, 6,000 – Mintage Limit, 16,000
- $5 (1/10oz): Product Limit, 12,000 – Mintage Limit, 22,000
All the individual coins will have the same household limit of just three and arrive in a black presentation case with a Certificate of Authenticity.
