We are nearly at the end of 2022 and the United States Mint has been winding down their product releases for some time now. Today, they are releasing their final product from this year’s schedule. Available for $28, you can own the 2022 American Innovation $1 Coin Reverse Proof Set beginning at 12pm EST.
In its fourth full year of releases in addition to an introductory coin unveiled in 2018, the American Innovation Dollar Program is a multi-year series that aims to honor innovation and innovators from each state, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Northern Mariana Islands with $1 coins.
This year’s honorees featured coins from Rhode Island, Vermont, Kentucky, and Tennessee. The 2022 American Innovation $1 Coin Reverse Proof Set will feature each of the coins in a beautiful reverse proof with frosted backgrounds and mirror-like finishes creating a contrast that is truly stunning. All minted at San Francisco, the coins will come in a protective lens and Original Government Packaging accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
Product and mintage limit are both 50,000.
