March is nearly over, and we are almost a quarter of the way through the year already. Rounding out this month, the United States Mint is getting ready for the 2023 Proof American Gold Eagle Coin releases tomorrow beginning at 12pm EST.
As always, the Mint will have available the Proof four-coin set featuring the 1oz ($50), 1/2oz ($25), 1/4oz ($10), and 1/10oz ($5) coins all struck at West Point. Each 22-karat gold coin is encapsulated and placed in a black presentation case with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Mintage and product limits for the four-coin set is 13,000 with the household limit set at three initially. The set’s retail is set at $5,332.50.
In addition, each denomination will be available for purchase individually. Below are more details:
- 1oz ($50) Proof Gold American Eagle – Mintage Limit: 22,500 – Retail: $2,850.00
- 1/2oz ($25) Proof Gold American Eagle – Mintage Limit: 16,000 – Retail: $1,450.00
- 1/4oz ($10) Proof Gold American Eagle – Mintage Limit: 19,000 – Retail: $752.50
- 1/10oz ($5) Proof Gold American Eagle – Mintage Limit: 31,000 – Retail: $330.00
Each individual coin will arrive in a black presentation case with a Certificate of Authenticity.
